Michael left early to go get ready for the Kiwanis golf tournament on this glorious spring morning. I sat at the kitchen table, watching birds come and go from our feeders. I had a perfect cup of Yunnan Gold tea. A bird we have been wanting to identify sat at the window for a long time. I found out that he is a Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
He watched a woodpecker eat on the suet feeder for a few minutes, then he did the same before leaving. While he was there, a hummingbird came by to check out the action, then drink from her feeder.
I had such a feeling of peace and serenity as I enjoyed watching and listening to the birds.
