Beach Baby

Olivia is LOVING the beach! She went right in the water and fussed a little when I took her out. She has had a blast playing in the sand and insists on pulling her wagon whenever we go out.

We got to go for a ride on this amazing ferris wheel. Olivia wasn't quite sure what to think of it, but seemed to have a good time.

Centennial Park and the Varsity

We had a fun day of sight seeing starting at Centennial Park that was built as part of the Olympics. Olivia got close to the fountains when they were off, then the inevitable happened. Off it went and she got soaked, ran to Mommy and off came the dress. She then ran and ran around for another 15 minutes just as happy as she could be.

We left there and headed to the Varsity for lunch. Olivia thoroughly enjoyed her egg salad sandwich and orange cream.

In the afternoon, we did some shopping and relaxed. This morning we are headed to the beach.

First: Haircut, Lolipop, Carosel Ride

We are thoroughly enjoying our trip - the drive down on Sunday was good - one road closure in East St. Louis lead to an unplanned, unmarked detour. Olivia did GREAT in the car. Only one really fussy time, right before she fell asleep for her afternoon nap.

We have been outside a lot, playing in the park and generally enjoying the beautiful weather here in Atlanta. We need to get some pictures of Olivia with her cousins today.

A quick picture

Just wanted to put a picture up. Olivia is still getting over her cold, but that as not slowed her down any. She feel asleep in the car this morning for about 30 minutes, which means no nap this afternoon - no matter what we try, she never goes back to sleep if she sleeps earlier in the day.

She is going non-stop all the time, from one end of the house to the other. It is hard to get pictures because she never stops moving.

A Couple New Pics

Just wanted to add a couple pictures in case you were needing them! Quiet weekend here - Olivia and Mom both have a cold, so we stayed close to home. Since it snowed both Saturday and Sunday, that was yet another reason to hang around.

Have we mentioned that Olivia is a monkey. She is climbing like crazy. She was on the kitchen and dining room tables today, even though she knows she shouldn't.
