Was very busy around our house! We started with a trip to the fancy new (at least to us) bowling alley in O'fallon. We were met by Julie and the girls, Mom and Roy and Dad and Jeri. Grandpa Charlie was on baby chasing duty while most of the rest of us bowled a game. Occasionally, Olivia would stop in to cheer us on or "help". After the bowling extravaganza, we went out for pizza and sat on the patio at a nearby pizza place, chatted and had a wonderful dinner.
Saturday was storage unit madness for Michael in the morning. With the eminent flooding along the Mississippi river, lots and lots of people were looking for a place to put their stuff. There were literally people waiting in line to rent storage units on Friday and Saturday. In the meantime, Mama and Olivia went shopping, worked on laundry and one of us took a nap. Saturday evening, we went to Dad and Jeri's for a wonderful steak dinner, riding on motorized vehicles and playing in the playhouse. Olivia loves to climb, sit and ride on the 4-wheeler, as depicted above!
Sunday started with breakfast of french toast and Daddy's favorite: BACON!!! Then he had to go back out to the storage units to rent a couple more. We had a fabulous lunch at Grammy and Grandpy's then home for an attempt at a nap. In the evening, since we were still full from lunch, we skipped dinner and once again back out to the storage units to do some work and home to catch up on all the paperwork.
