Yipee!!! We so enjoyed our trip to Gulf Shores in the spring that we decided to come back again! On Friday we drove to Memphis, had AMAZING bbq at Central BBQ, visited with Michael's cousins, then crashed for the night in a hotel. We got up on Saturday morning quite early because Olivia thought it was pretty darn cool to wake up and see Mommy in the bed just feet from the crib. So, we were all up at 5:22 am. We took our time getting up and out, then drove the rest of the way here. We unpacked, put our suits on and headed to the pool while we wait for Grandma Gayla and Grandpa Roy to arrive. Once they did, we brought their stuff up, changed and went to one of our favorite restaurants from the last trip here, Flippers. It sit in a marina and we sat right out on the water and had a, once again, wonderful dinner. Michael had gumbo and raw oysters, I had a shrimp po boy and sweet potato fries, Grandma had a shrimp and spinach salad, Grandpa had blacked swordfish and Olivia had grilled mahi mahi. Olivia absolutely loves fish and after eating her fish and applesauce, she ate gobs of sweet potato fries, some onion rings and fried okra. Then had a few bites of Key Lime pie.
