Monday - the Zoo

This morning, since it was still a bit cool, we opted for the Gulf Shores Zoo. It was surprisingly nice. You could get very close to the animals and they were, for the most part, active and engaging. Olivia especially wanted to see monkeys, and there were plenty. She absolutely was thrilled to feed the little deer, sheep, goats and anything else that would take her food. Some wild cats in a pen were watching a large rabbit just outside their cage and a boy was feeding the rabbit. When we would not give her food to give to the rabbit, she pretended to feed it by reaching into her hand, picking up a piece of food and dropping it to the rabbit. It was pretty funny.
